memorial day weekend.

Whoa! Life is busy. I am ready to tell the world (my 7 readers) about my Memorial Day Weekend!

On Friday I did flowers for a bridal shower. My friend's friend is getting married. I don't actually know the bride, which kind of made it even more exciting. I feel like a real florist! Speaking of which, my classes start this Monday and I am so excited! Parker and I took our friend Laura to dinner for her birthday. We hit up Jason's Deli, because she's super healthy (and awesome) and she was in the mood for a good salad bar. We love Jason's Deli! It's the best.

Saturday we helped Parker's dad move. Really, Parker and his brother-in-law, Ryan, helped Parker's dad move. I spent a little time with my parents at their house. There is something about going home to my parents' house that brings instant relaxation to me. I was lucky to be raised in a wonderful home that  I love to come home to. 

Sunday we went to church and relaxed. Parker grilled up an awesome meal - chicken, cord, potatoes, onions, and cherry tomatoes. Speaking of cherry tomatoes, we have more growing!

On Monday we went to the lake with my family and brought The Beast. We bought her a life jacket. Turns out bulldogs and pugs have trouble keeping their heads above water, because their legs are so short and their bodies are so big. She loved the lake as you can see in one of my pictures above. We love her so much! She's our dog baby. Yeah, we're those people!
