I don't have any kids. I have a dog. One squishy faced dog that I treat like a child. She watches me fix my hair, cook dinner, and hangs out with my while I veg on the couch after a long day of work, upgrading my iPhone at the Apple Store, dog park adventure, and dinner. Parker has a late class tonight, so it's just the ladies.
Ellie isn't the only one feeling lazy tonight. Work wears me out sometimes. 23 ten year olds surrounding me all day. Most of them have short term memory loss (not really). Every day they come in my class and call me "Miss". That's not actually my name, believe it or not. Today was especially entertaining, because one of my students had some very exciting news for me. A comes up to me and in a very soft whisper intrigues me with, "Something very horrible has happened." I urge him to share. He goes on, "It's really something bad." This has peaked my interest even more. He finally admits, "I have athlete's foot."
Disgusting.
Disgusting.
Sometimes I am glad I am a mom and not a teacher. :) I can only handle my two kids instead of 23. :) You go sister!
