We had our first experience at the dog park this afternoon! Ellie ran everywhere and made a lot of new friends. We were really impressed with how open, clean, and nice the park was. They even had doggie water fountains! We are just starting our lives as dog owners, and it's pretty entertaining.
We just sat back and relaxed while she played. We met a lot of other dog owners. I realized that dog owners come in all shapes and sizes. We met a couple who had two dogs - Juju (mini pinscher) and Emma (italian grey hound). Juju needed to go on a diet. He had trouble keeping up with the others. Emma was afraid of Ellie and her owner carried her around like a baby.
The weather was perfect! The sun was shining and it was probably 70 degrees. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful Sunday afternoon outing!
