Last week was our currazzay family reunion! I have family in New Hampshire, Utah, and California and they all came to Texas! My family, my aunt and her family, my uncle and his family, and my grandparents all live here. I feel so lucky to have so much family so close.
The week was full of activities. Because our ancestors are Scottish, we played "highland games". It was hilarious! We had to throw a big log (2x4) and it was really hard! My immediate family had an advantage, because we had more men in our family than the others.
On the fourth of July, we went to the horse races. My aunt told Parker and me to dress nice, so we did…
It was a really good idea in the car, but the mood immediately changed when we realized we had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get in. Everyone in line looked like they were going to a baseball game. There were cut off shorts, coolers, and a whole lot of tank tops. We were really warm. We were sweating a lot. Thank goodness my aunt got us tickets inside where there was air-conditioning.
Last week we ate a lot, talked a lot, and laughed a lot. I think my favorite part of the whole week was seeing Asher every. single. day.
Also, I have updated my flower blog! Check it out! poppiesandpeoniesfloral.blogspot.com
