happy birthday, ashleigh.

On Saturday we threw Parker's sister, Ashleigh a birthday party and it was so fun! Her favorite dessert is strawberry shortcake, so I went with a red and white theme. She loves sunflowers, so we had to have them make an appearance.

The Beast dressed for the occasion. Not sure why her underbite is so pronounced in this picture, but it's really funny looking.

Each of us wrote things we love about her and I tagged everything in the front room with the reasons we love her. Ashleigh is so selfless, hilarious, and totally wonderful! It was easy to come up with a list of things that make her totally awesome.

We had originally planned to play games, but Ellie is awesome and hilarious, so we decided to take everyone to the dog park. The dog park is one of the best places in the world! We are totally dog people. 

Parker and I are so lucky to have family so close to us! Both sets of parents live in DFW, I have a sprinkle of aunts and uncles here, grandparents, and our siblings are here (except for the brothers in Utah, Maryland, and Germany).
